UBC Manufacturing Engineering Receives Full 6-Year Accreditation from CEAB

We are proud to share that the UBC Manufacturing Engineering program has been granted a full six-year accreditation by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB)—the maximum possible term—extending through to June 30, 2031.

This decision, following the CEAB’s recent evaluation visit in November 2024, reflects the program’s strong academic foundation, commitment to continuous improvement, and the hard work of our faculty and staff. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Dr. Christoph Sielmann and Dr. Adam Clare for their leadership throughout the accreditation process, and to everyone who contributed to this milestone achievement.

This clean accreditation result affirms the quality and rigour of the education offered by UBC MANU and further strengthens the confidence of students, families, and industry partners in the program.
