As a Manufacturing Engineering student, you have access to a dedicated team of professionals supporting you throughout your academic journey.
The Engineering Academic Services (EAS) team is here to assist you with academic advising, course selection, registration, transfer credits, and more.
Before Booking an Appointment
To ensure you get the most out of your advising session, please:
- Visit the EAS Frequently Asked Questions: Common inquiries and their answers are listed here, as well as links to relevant sections of our website.
- Review the UBC Academic Calendar: The Academic Calendar is a comprehensive guide to all programs, courses, services, and academic policies at UBC.
- Consider the length of your inquiry: Complex questions about course planning, academic standing, or academic concession may require a 20-minute booked appointment.
- For quick inquiries, it may be faster to send an email to EAS.
Advising with EAS
- Virtual: EAS offers Virtual Drop-In Advising for short inquiries that may not need an advising appointment. Please visit the Virtual Drop-in Advising page for more information.
- In-Person: EAS staff are available to answer questions at the EAS office front desk during opening hours. Limited in-person drop-in advising appointments are available on a first-come-first-serve basis, dependent on advisor availability.
