Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Feedback
The MANU equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) committee is an implementation-focused committee. The committee wants to foster and support an equitable experience in manufacturing, where individuals are respected and have a sense of belonging and inclusion. The goal is to thread EDI within all aspects of the Manufacturing Engineering Program, and to address the changing needs of our community, especially for those who are most marginalized.
The EDI committee focuses on ‘on-the-ground’ EDI initiatives such as the development of events, workshops, providing analysis/synthesis of data or reports and best-practice recommendations. The committee will identify EDI issues, prioritize them and work to propose initiatives to tackle them.
